SrtCommonInputSettings.tlpktdrop property

This API is now obsolete.

Disabling too-late-packet-drop (SRTO_TLPKTDROP) on a receiver is strongly discouraged. It was intended to stop packets whose wallclock timing is slightly late being discarded, but with it off libsrt head-of-line-blocks on any missing packet and retransmits it without limit — so a genuinely unrecoverable loss stalls the receive buffer and can wedge the publisher. To tolerate late-but-received packets, raise receiveLatency (the enlarged budget still lets the receiver skip true losses while absorbing late arrivals). Default (and recommended) is true.
