MoqInputNode.nudge() method

Nudges one publisher’s (source’s) program on this input: an ABSOLUTE target offset, in milliseconds, from that source’s own timestamps, which the engine ramps to gradually. The input’s publishers share one timestamp corrector, which holds the target per source. Answered by the engine: rejects with reason "not_ready" while the source has no stream yet (retry once it has), "closed" once the node is gone, "timeout" from an engine that does not answer.

Signature:

nudge(sourceName: string, programNumber: number, nudge: number): Promise<void>;

Parameters

Parameter Type Description

sourceName

string

programNumber

number

nudge

number

Returns:

Promise<void>

Resolves once the engine has applied the nudge. Ignoring the Promise is safe: a failure is then only logged, never an unhandled rejection.
