Stable hardware identities (IDeckLinkProfileAttributes). index is just IDeckLinkIterator traversal order — it shifts as the visible device set changes (driver updates, other cards, device-filtered containers); these do not. persistent_id follows the physical card across slots; topological_id follows the PCIe position; device_group_id
sub_device_index identify a sub-device within a multi-device card. Absent when the card/driver doesn’t report them.
